The museum is housed in an ancient tinglado, a historic building originally used as a railway station outbuilding (shed), the Fishing Museum is nestled in the heart of the Palomós seaport. These tinglados, found in maritime ports and docks throughout Catalonia, represent a preserved cultural heritage, adding charm and historical significance to the museum’s location.
